Maybe they'd report back to maintenance, and some automated message about light saber damage would irritate General Hux. But things were different here, and not just because they were glittery.
When Kylo lashed out again, it wasn't towards Mordred. He grabbed his own droid, already creeping up on him the same as hers, and flipped it, hurtling it towards the other one. It didn't really save them from getting glitterbombed entirely, since both droids were now showering it indiscriminately as they flailed, but it was better than a direct hit.
