Kylo was, frankly, speechless. She made it sound so easy, which of course led him to believe she was lying about most of it, even if the results had been obvious. Kebechet had known of his intentions to assist the Regency before abducting him, but the Mordred and the others? Certainly not Rey, which meant they'd perhaps been too eager to listen to someone else seemingly willing to double cross.

It also meant he was going to have to tread very, very carefully when dealing with the Regency in the future. The loss of their base, under the pretense of the sort of betrayal he'd offered, likely stung. He and Hux were going to have to work that much harder to seem trustworthy to them.

"Everything worked out for the best, then," he said, not believing a single word he'd said. "The blonde -- do you mean Daenerys?"

If so, he might ask her to verify the story.
