It's not a matter of you having seen someone fight with a sword. [This would sound like he's bragging, except the bravado behind tooting your own horn is absent, there's no flare, no cocky smirk to wrap his statements around. It's a statement of fact, at least for now. He doesn't really use that kind of tone except when he has to intimidate, to goad someone on to go for the kill.] It's that you haven't seen me fight with a sword. Against a gun, anyway.

Gun enthusiasts may tell you differently but this weapon, [he raises the Japanese sword in his hand to rest the blade on his other, fingers almost delicate in the steel] doesn't really give you much leeway. The bullet of a gun is fast even if you pull the trigger slowly. The blade is as fast as you are fast.

I've learned how to cut bullets with this years ago. [He shrugs, moving back to his place, resuming his stance.] You don't have to aim for the head, just my general direction.
