[Jack goes not long after, everything going black--if there's one good thing about it, it's that he doesn't have to take in the crowd cheering for their defeat. After a moment, he doesn't have to think about anything at all, which is nice, he supposes.
He dreams, and it isn't pleasant.
When he comes to, he's submerged in liquid, unable to really process what's happened to him or where he is until he's clawing his way out, animal instincts taking over. Air rushes back into his lungs, and Jack is all at once gasping and coughing, feeling like everything inside of him has coagulated.
Jack staggers, barely registering that he's naked, only feeling the need to expunge the feeling from his body entirely--so he does. All over the floor. It's black, and he recoils away from it, backing into the pod and sinking to the ground.]
