"Blood is a pain in the neck to get out, and finding a dry cleaner that doesn't ask questions even more of a pain."

He gently eases into the whole 'maybe this guy isn't from around this time period' conversation to test the waters.

It's really his fault for wearing nice clothes to a blood bath, but he has his way of doing things and generally has the confidence and skill to back it up. He doesn't like to change that part of him unless extreme circumstances (like this one) call for it. Although not completely spotless, the stains on his disguise are minimal at best and therefore has little complaints so far. He even seems happy to answer the challenge.
